About 737 W. Washington in Chicagos West Loop

When condo buyers in Chicago think of West Loop real estate, classic timber loft-style properties housed in historic old warehouse buildings might be the first thing that comes to mind. And while the West Loop may be best known for such awesome loft condos, there’s so much more to the West Loop real estate market than just loft conversions. One of our favorite condo buildings located in the West Loop is situated at the corner of Halsted and Washington at 737 W. Washington. Also known as the Skybridge Condos, 737 West Washington isn’t what you typically find on Chicago’s west side. As the tallest building west of the expressway, 737 W. Washington was just recently built back in 2003, stands 39 stories high and houses a whopping 220+ condominium residences. Despite its massive size, however, the building itself still encompasses many of the features home buyers in the West Loop desire, only with full-service amenities and spectacular views of the surrounding downtown area. So just what do we mean by saying that the Skybridge Condos in Chicago offer features similar to other nearby West Loop buildings? Well, it’s no secret that today’s West Loop is much different from what the neighborhood was even 10 years ago. If you love the West Loop vibe but aren’t exactly keen on a vintage timber loft with exposed brick and wide open spaces, chances are you want a home that’s sleek, modern, sophisticated, and offers just a touch of that loft-like feel—and that’s exactly what you get at 737 West Washington. The exterior to the building is a solid combination of glass and grey-toned concrete, which reveals that chic look this trendy downtown Chicago neighborhood commands. The interior, on the other hand, boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, high-end kitchens, hardwood flooring, and even exposed columns in many of the corner units, which of course is a nice lofty touch that adds to the appeal of these units. But that’s not all. If you’re considering a condo at 737 W. Washington, chances are you prefer the conveniences of all the great in-building amenities other large-scale condominium buildings offer throughout downtown Chicago. If so, you certainly won’t be disappointed by what 737 West Washington provides to its current residents. Along with the usual 24-hour door service and in-building fitness center, amenities at the Skybridge condos also include an awesome rooftop deck, on-site deeded parking, a nice little dog run thats perfect for dog lovers, and there’s even a Dominick’s right there in the building (so much for having to get in your car or fight the elements when it’s time to stock up on health food, junk food, or anything else sold at the market)      There’s no doubt 737 W. Washington in Chicago’s West Loop is a special building. But to find out how special, you really need to see for yourself. So if you think a condo at 737 W. Washington might be the right fit, or you would like to schedule a private showing for a condo for sale or rent here, give Nick Nastos a call at (312) 243-5200 and start enjoy everything the Skybridge Condos offer today Photo Credit: VHT Whats Available at 737 W.
